There are two groups:

Opera Group 1 meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at Rosebery Lodge, 2pm–4pm

Opera Group 2 meets on the 3rd Friday of the month at Rosebery Lodge, 2pm-4pm

These are friendly groups which aim to extend members’ knowledge and enjoyment of opera by learning about the composers and listening to the music. We take it in turns to introduce an opera and less confident members are encouraged to take part. Opera “novices” are welcome, as well as those who are more knowledgeable.
