Meetings consist of a tasting of three or four wines, followed by a one-course supper with more wine.  There is a charge per meeting to cover the cost of the wine and food (payable in advance).  This new group is following the DIY wine-tasting course from Michael Schuster’s book Essential Winetasting and will meet only in those months when Wine Appreciation 2 have an Essential Winetasting meeting (alternate months).  Some months there will be joint meetings for members of all wine groups: an annual social event in January, and occasional visits to wineries both in London and further afield.
