We meet on alternate Thursdays 2.30pm - 4.00pm British Summer Time, otherwise 2.00pm - 3.30pm.

We are a friendly intermediate level mixed ability group. Our aim is to improve our understanding and use of Italian, particularly conversation skills. Our core themes are current Italian and world news taken from Easy Italian News online. Each member takes the lead on a section of the text, so everyone contributes to the group. We read the text aloud and listen to audio of Italian spoken by native speakers. Also, we discuss each section of the text in Italian where possible, expanding on grammar, vocabulary and other points of interest. We are also reading La Straniera by Nicoletta Santoni and play acting conversations between the characters.
