Convenor:
When: Monthly on Thursday afternoons 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
1st Thursday of the month
Venue: The Plough, Lordship Lane

Explore the world of mathematics and rediscover a sense of wonder through a wide range of engaging topics. Learn about its history, influential figures—including women whose work was long overlooked—and explore maths beyond school in creative, practical ways. We investigate patterns and the influence of mathematics, past and present. Recent topics include the gravity-defying bike wheel, Platonic solids, fractals, imaginary numbers, and ‘arty’ tessellations. No prior mathematical knowledge is required.

New members are always welcome.
