We explore a wide range of mathematical topics, from patterns and history to the influence of maths past and present. We also highlight the people behind the ideas, including women whose work was long overlooked. Topics have included fractals, Platonic solids, 3D tessellations, graph theory, the world of π, bell ringing with animation, and gyroscopes like the ‘gravity-defying’ bike wheel. A mathematical background is helpful, but our approach is recreational, not rigorous!
New members are always welcome.
