Studying poetry from around the world, the chosen poet or theme is agreed beforehand by the members, with individual contributions sent ahead of the next meeting for collation into a handout. We consider the circumstances around the time of its composition, and the poet’s biography. We are a small, very relaxed group, who gain much enjoyment in listening to each other’s thoughts.
