What is Zumba Gold?: Friendly, fun, easy-to-follow gentle dance aerobics inspired by Latin music that focuses on balance, range of motion and co-ordination plus it is an effective cardiovascular workout too. The class starts with a warm up and you will be guided through an interesting mix of styles including: Salsa, Flamenco, and Charleston (amongst others), and finishes with a relaxing stretch.
What to Wear/Bring: Comfortable, lightweight clothing with supportive pumps or trainers and a bottle of water is recommended.
The Zumba Gold group is now in its third year and continues to blossom attracting both complete novices and dance enthusiasts alike. This year we have explored some new dance rhythms adding Cumbia – folk dance from Colombia - and some gentle toning to an African-inspired music.
